All American Karate Students perform a demonstration on Fox 8 News at 8 AM

All American Karate Studio was featured on Fox 8 News at 8 AM on Friday, October 16, 2009. Several of our students and instructors performed a demonstration of some techniques, katas and sparring to promote our school, which is a nominee for “Best Martial Arts” in the Fox 8 Hotlist.

All American Karate to participate in the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk on May 31, 2008

Dear Coworkers, Friends and Family,
This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words “You have breast cancer,” and there’s a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I have chosen to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by participating in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk … and I hope you will join me. I have formed a Team for the walk on May 31 at Progressive Field. The team name is Christy's Team All American Karate/Traffic Night Club. Please join in my effort by signing up to join our team, or making a donation in support of our participation.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is our opportunity to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about early detection and prevention, and raise money to fund lifesaving research and support programs to help fight breast cancer. But Making Strides is more than just the name of a walk, it describes the amazing progress we can make if we work together to defeat this disease.

Kids Karate & Self Defense for Seniors

Two more programs are coming up at LifeWorks and taught by All American Karate certified black belt instructors!
1. Kids Karate — Saturdays, April 12 - May 17
Six-week program. For kids ages 5 - 8 from 11:00 a.m to 12 noon. Ages 9 - 13 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. LifeWorks Members: $24, Nonmembers: $40
1. Self Defense for Seniors — Friday, May 16 at 11 a.m.
Free seminar. Join All American Karate for a demonstration of self-defense techniques and valuable information regarding your personal safety.

Registration is required, as space is limited.

Self Defense for Teenagers and College Students

LifeWorks and All American Karate are offering a one day Self Defense Course for teenagers & college students taught by certified black belt instructors!
Saturday, December 22, 2007
11:00 a.m. — 1:00 p.m.
Cost: LifeWorks Members - $5; Nonmembers - $10
We will teach you how to Think Smart and Stay Safe on campus and in daily life!

LifeWorks Program Policies:
Sign up by Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the LifeWorks Service Desk. Programs require a minimum number of participants. Should this number not be met, you will be contacted and issued a full refund. Space is limited to 25 participants in each class. Full refunds are available until Wednesday, December 19, 2007. No refunds are available after a class has begun. In special situations, refunds may be given for medical reasons. All members are required to check in for programs with their membership card. Nonmembers are required to show a photo ID to enter the facility. Persons without proper ID may be denied entrance.

LifeWorks of Southwest General Hospital and All American Karate will be offering a 6 week Beginners Women’s Self Defense Course starting Saturday October 13, 2007 at 11:15 AM.
This course will be taught by certified Black Belts. With the holidays approaching we will teach you how to Think Smart and Stay Safe!
